The Tracking Indian Youth Workers Media Fellowship is dedicated to documenting the lives, aspirations, and experiences of young workers in India. As we bring you the next story in this series, we are also excited to introduce the fellow behind it- Sajjad Khan. Learn about Sajjad in his own words-
“I’m Sajjad Khan, a 24-year-old dreamer from Haryana, currently pursuing a degree in English Literature at St. Peter’s Institute of Higher Education and Research in Chennai. 2,390 km away from home, my love for travel and exploration led me here, driven by a craving for new experiences and adventures.
My teacher once told me that life is not just an easy summer afternoon or a Shakespearean tragedy—it is what we choose to write. Through this fellowship, I seek to explore journalism as a powerful form of storytelling, expression, and reflection of life. I want to learn how stories shape perspectives, uncover truths, and create impact, making this experience a meaningful chapter in my journey.”
For his first profile, Sajjad bring you the story of Priscilla Evangeline, a young student from Chennai.
