The Tracking Indian Youth Attitudes Media Fellowship is dedicated to documenting the lives, aspirations, and experiences of young people across India. As we bring you the next story in this series, we are also excited to introduce the fellow behind it—Nehal Gupta.
Learn about Nehal in her own words-
“I am a 20-year-old journalism student at Delhi University with a deep passion for storytelling and photography. I believe that every person has a story worth telling, and I want to be the one to bring those stories to light. That’s why I joined this fellowship—to explore unique, hidden narratives that often go unnoticed.
For me, journalism is more than just reporting facts; it’s about connecting with people, understanding their lives, and giving them a voice. This fellowship gives me the opportunity to step out of my comfort zone, talk to people from different backgrounds, and improve my social skills—all while doing something meaningful for society. I want to be part of the change, and I believe that by sharing real-life struggles and triumphs, I can contribute to making a difference in the world.”
