The Tracking Indian Youth Workers Media Fellowship is dedicated to documenting the lives, aspirations, and experiences of young workers in India. As we bring you our first story, we are also excited to introduce the fellow behind it—Mohammad Kaif Zaidi. Learn about Kaif in his own words-
“As a media and mass communication student at Aligarh Muslim University, I see journalism as a powerful tool for education, motivation, and change. My experience spans research, content creation, and audience engagement, with past contributions to East Post and Network 18's Lok Sabha Election Hub. Having written extensively on international conflicts, I bring a keen eye for detail and a commitment to telling meaningful stories.
Through this fellowship, I aim to highlight the realities of young workers across India—offering insights that inform, inspire, and spark conversations.”
For his first profile, Kaif brings to you the story of Mohammad Uvais Khan, an aspiring kickboxer.
